exploring innovative models
for resident companies and partnerships

As The GRAND enters a new chapter, we’re committed to becoming a true home for Calgary’s performing arts community—one that fosters creativity, inclusivity, and growth.

But this journey isn’t just ours;
it’s about you, our partners.

Your insights are essential as we explore innovative models for resident companies and lasting collaborations. Together, we can ensure our unique space serves as a shared, thriving home for local artists and organizations.

The Workshop:
A Collaborative Opportunity

Why have a workshop?

Our vision is to make The GRAND a hub for a diverse cohort of artists and arts organization “Residents”. We are  exploring the feasibility of this new model, one that could provide a home for the arts and long term stability for The GRAND.

This workshop is an opportunity to help us shape our role in the city’s evolving arts landscape and define how we can better support YOU whether you are an arts organizations, artist, or part of the creative sector.
