THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE THE SHOW

  • The GRAND is happy to accommodate patrons with accessibility needs and is proud to offer wheelchair seating, as well as size accessible seating to accommodate additional size and weight capacity of up to 500 lbs.

    Please select “wheelchair” or “size accessible” seating and contact boxoffice@thegrandyyc.ca , so we may help ensure your accessibility needs are met.

    Accessibility seating varies and is limited to per performance.

  • Doors to the GRAND generally open one-hour before the start time of a performance.

    Doors to the theatre generally open thirty-minutes before the start time of a performance.

  • There is no longer an in-house restaurant at The GRAND; however, we do have a bar that serves non-alcoholic drinks, beer and wine as well as confectionary (chips and chocolates). The bar is open one-hour before the start time of a performance and during intermissions.

    The GRAND only accepts debit and credit cards.

    Please note: Beverages in plastic cups are allowed in the Theatre. Food is not allowed.

  • Latecomers will be seated during the performance at a suitable time at the discretion of the Front of House Staff. However, please note that some performances and events may not allow latecomers.

  • If you lost a belonging in the venue, then please contact us at boxoffice@thegrandyyc.ca and we’ll arrange a time for you to pick it up. You may be asked to provide information regarding specific identifying markers in order to retrieve your lost item. Items not claimed after three months will be donated to good will.

  • Photography and videography is at the discretion of the artist(s) and presenter(s) and is determined on a show by show basis. By default, please presume that you can only take photos and videos before and after the event and not during. You may be asked to leave the venue if you take photos and/or videos after being asked to stop.
