The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Presented by The GRAND for ‘Seasons Screenings’
A Little Bit Spooky, A Little Bit Merry
What happens when Halloween falls in love with Christmas? Things get wonderfully weird.
From the imagination of Tim Burton, The Nightmare Before Christmas follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, who stumbles upon Christmas Town and becomes determined to bring a little festive cheer to his own delightfully macabre world. But when Jack takes it upon himself to deliver Christmas his way, things don't quite go to plan.
Directed by Henry Selick and brought to life through mesmerising stop-motion animation, this cult classic is equal parts spooky, sweet and gloriously strange. With Danny Elfman's unforgettable songs, a cast of wonderfully peculiar characters and a story that has become a holiday favourite for generations, it's a Christmas film with a deliciously dark twist.
This December, bring the family to The GRAND for an afternoon of movie magic, curious creatures and heart-warming stories that will fill you with holiday cheer.
