Ferris Bueller's Day Off returns to the big screen for its 40th anniversary — a sharp, endlessly quotable celebration of youth, rebellion, and the art of getting away with it.

When charming high schooler Ferris Bueller decides to take a day off, he doesn’t just skip school — he orchestrates an unforgettable adventure. With his best friend Cameron and girlfriend Sloane in tow, Ferris turns the city into his personal playground, dodging authority at every turn — including the increasingly desperate efforts of his principal to catch him in the act.

What follows is a perfectly paced joyride through iconic moments: a Ferrari tearing down Lake Shore Drive, an impromptu parade performance that stops the city in its tracks, and a series of fourth-wall-breaking asides that make you feel like you’re in on the joke.
